Cisco has 8800 phones that are available in 2 different formats enterprise and multiplatform. Wazo currently supports multiplatform. The problem is that over 90% of the phones that are readily available are enterprise format. Wazo should support both formats enterprise and multiplatform so whatever format phones the customer has we can get them to work with Wazo.
I made an answer on the mattermost channel. But to resume here, we don’t want to put effort on other cisco firmware, we support SCCP and SIP MPP firmware. In general, my opinion is use another brand because it’s very complicated to support this phone. Cisco doesn’t help other developers for the integration.
